Broward Supervisor of Elections staff will assist residents in answering their questions. Walk-ins are welcome.

Participants should bring their fully charged device with all passwords required to download Apps. Course and supplies are supported by funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Per CDBG guidelines, CDBG programs are only open to Lighthouse Point residents ages 62 and over.

With the support of library staff, the Library Advisory Board reviews library operations, policies, programs, collections, budgets, and planning. The 6:30pm meeting time is set by City policy and a quorum of four members is required for each session. Meetings are in the library and are open to the public. Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting is asked to advise the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the meeting at 954-943-6500. City Hall is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available. Agendas for upcoming meetings will be available on the City’s website, https://www.lighthousepointfl.gov/129/Agendas-Minutes 48 hours prior to the meeting.

We kick off the COLOR OUR WORLD youth summer programs with a Rock Art Party for all ages! Kids can enjoy games, prizes, treats, stories and getting artsy with rock painting! Rocks can be taken home or displayed in City Hall’s atrium garden throughout the summer.   

This summer the Library will be hosting weekly fieldtrips for the LHP Summer Camp

Page Turner Adventures is an award-winning children’s media company that produces fun multi-platform content for kids ages 4-10. Online adventures contain: Video crafts and handouts that may be downloaded and reprinted. Registered participants will be emailed a link and credentials to access all content 24/7.

Each week, kids can create a new toy or gadget that they can take home to enjoy. Participants choose their own skill level. Registration is for all dates. No session week of July 4th.

Dr. Molly will feature the science of color during each STEAM Color Lab. All participants will have hands on lab work each week. Registration is for all dates. No session week of July 4th.
