Page Turner Adventures is an award-winning children’s media company that produces fun multi-platform content for kids ages 4-10. Online adventures contain: Video stories and crafts, audiobook, flipbooks, and multiple activities that may be downloaded and reprinted. Registered participants will be emailed a link and credentials to access all content 24/7.

Morikami Museum Outreach offers 3 exciting classes: Miniature Garden Making, Chigiri-e, and Origami
July 10: Miniature Garden Making.
Use real plants, stones, soil, and sand to create your own mini-Japanese garden.
July 17: Chigiri-e.
Learn about the Japanese art of chigiri-e (paper collage) and create a postcard sized work of art
July 24: Origami.
Turn flat pieces of paper into three-dimensional works of art!

Build early learning skills through the joys of movement, books, and song. Library Story Time! may include short stories, songs, finger play, flannel boards, crafts, or other educational elements including bilingual English/Spanish vocabulary. Programs are designed to teach social skills, listening comprehension, letter/number recognition, vocabulary, and to build a foundation for lifelong reading success. Program length, stories, and activities are geared toward the target audience.

Hosted the third Wednesday of the month.  Course and supplies are supported by funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Per CDBG guidelines, CDBG programs are only open to Lighthouse Point residents ages 62 and over. In-person enrollment and registration at the Library is required.
