Ages 4 to 7
Kids use STEAM skills to help their favorite fairy tale characters work through challenges! They might help a prince scale a tower to rescue Rapunzel, or get the Gingerbread Man across a river, or build a house for the three little pigs. Different challenges presented in each session. Registration is for all dates. 
All children must attend this program with their favorite adult.

Kimley Horn prepared a feasibility study and preliminary design concepts for improvements along Sample Road from Federal Highway to the Intracoastal Waterway, including:

  • Provide recommendations for creating a shared bicycle lane throughout the Sample Road corridor in the City.
  • Implement traffic calming options throughout the Sample Road corridor.
  • Provide recommendations for sidewalk improvements including ADA compliance throughout the corridor to include lighting.
  • Provide alternative solutions for existing pedestrian crosswalks.
  • Evaluate the existing drainage system and incorporate stormwater runoff storage and treatment methods where applicable.
  • Assess roadway conditions: striping, milling and resurfacing needs.
  • Evaluate medium cuts, intersection crossings, and back-out parking throughout the Sample Road corridor and provide recommendations for improved safety.
